Nexion Standard Pricing
Effective December 2009

Nexion, for the price of a credit card facility alone, automatically captures and processes all payment types including credit cards, stop orders, cash, cheques, EFT and medical aid bulk receipts from one interface. Replacing manual processes and eliminating the potential for errors and fraud.

Nexion does not require an up-front investment and does not require a telephone connection. Pricing includes all bank charges, real time cash flow reporting, hardware required, training support, and automated data-storage backup to protect your cash flow data.

  1. Nexion charges a one-time activation fee of R 800.00 for each Nexion license installed. (See definition of license below). Installation charges are billed by Nexion when the first license fee is due or when re-install is required. Activation fee includes activation, installation and telephonic training.
  2. Fixed monthly software license fees cover card processing hardware (Card Terminal), software rental, software updates, 24/7 telephone support and automated backup data storage. Nexion license fees include unlimited real time access to reports to balance to both Practice management systems and Bank accounts. Nexion license charges differ depending on type of license required:
    R 400.00    Primary license. Per bank account proceeds are deposited into or Location(s) installed.
    R 300.00  Secondary license. Additional terminals or additional subtotals on reports at same site as primary license.
    R 150.00    Reporting license. Additional PC’s with access to reporting on all primary and secondary licenses. Does not have to be at same site.

    (Primary and secondary licenses INCLUDE reporting. Nexion can deposit funds into multiple bank accounts (by practitioner or profit centre). Each such account requires a primary license. Secondary licenses can be purchased to enable additional tills (additional pay points) or to add additional subtotals on your cash flow reporting).

  3. Nexion transaction fees are charged on a per transaction basis and differ by transaction type (see table below). Transaction fees are deducted directly from proceeds.

    Nexion charges a minimum transaction fee of R400. In any calendar month that the minimum transaction fee is not met, Nexion will charge the difference between the transaction fees already charged for that month and the minimum fee. Minimum fees are deducted along with license fees at the beginning of each month.

  4. (optional) Thermal Receipt Printer available from Nexion at a one time cost of R3,400.00 plus shipping cost. Your printer will be debited along with license fee on the first billing cycle.
